Introduction

Hey there, this is Colby! I’m a US-based writer and editor. I hold a BA in Creative Writing, am a Sigma Tau Delta nominee, and look forward to teaching the craft at a secondary level.

My favorite fiction usually involves LGBTQ+ leads, but more than that… I had better cry. 

Experience/Current Projects:
My editing experience ranges from the academic to prose. As a tutor, my students received top marks on workshopped assignments and saw entry into a Big Ten school. As a beta reader, I currently help a handful of creative writers edit their work.

Rates

Please be aware that the rates listed below are standard rates as outlined by the Editorial Freelancers Association. The rate at which a project is charged will depend on the type of media being edited, and the amount of work put into the project. (For example: You submit a 250-word academic, humanities (student) project. The base rate is between $7.50 and $12.50 per page. However, if it takes me an hour to complete, then the rate will be $40.00.)
